The Sims 4 Get Together News: The Wacky, Weird, and Awesome Clubs Made by the Developers

By SimGuruRomeo

Clubs Made by Maxis

If you haven’t had a chance to play it yet, The Sims 4 Get Together* has a totally new feature: Clubs! We’ve seen some cool Clubs that you’ve made, and they’ve been AWESOME, but in case you wanted some inspiration we asked a few of the developers and SimGurus to talk about some of the crazy Clubs they’ve made.
  • The Noble Bears (Grant Rodiek)
  • Requirements: Loves The Outdoors Trait
  • Activities: Friendly to Everyone, Flirty with the Avant Gardes
  • Club Hangout: Any Park
  • Club Outfit: Bear Costume from The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat*

The Noble Bears are a weirdo group of Sims who must Love the Outdoors. We created them because we thought it would be hilarious to have this overwhelmingly nice (but ridiculously strange) masked menace about town.
  • Blicblock Heroes (SimGuruRomeo)
  • Requirements: Videogame Skill 2+
  • Activities: Play Video Games, Don’t Play Arcade Machines
  • Club Hangout: Anywhere with video games
  • Club Outfit: Club Hat, Club Jacket

Blicblock Heroes are your local gaming team. They play for sport and not for fun. They take the tournament scene very seriously. They have a back room at the Regicide Bar (which I built, just for them) where they practice for upcoming tournaments.
  • Order of the Llama (SimGuruEugi)
  • Requirements: None
  • Activities: View Art (The only piece of art on the leaders home lot is the Flying Llama Statue), Be Mischievous, Don’t Be Mischievous to Order of the Llama
  • Club Hangout: Leaders House (There is a creepy basement with a Flying Llama Statue)
  • Club Outfit: Reaper Gown

Order of the Llama is a secret Club that meets at the leader’s house every night. They all go down into the basement and view the Flying Llama Statue. While they are not viewing there Flying Llama Statue they are being mischievous to the townies.

  • The Menacing Rascals (SimGuruLyndsay)
  • Requirements: Kids
  • Activities: Be Mischievous, Tell Jokes, Play with Toys
  • Banned Activities: Do Homework

I like giving Kids something fun to do together.  The idea of troublemaking but fun youngsters reminds me of lots of books and comics I read growing up.
  • To Infinity! (SimGuruRomeo)
  • Requirements: Logic 2+
  • Activities: Rocket Science, Use Microscope, Use Telescope
  • Club Hangout: Oasis Springs Park (Where SimGuruRomeo built a secret lab)
  • Club Outfit: Space Suit

To Infinity! is your local Space Explorers. They hang out at the Oasis Springs park discovering new ways to contact lifeforms from the beyond (which works even better with the Aliens from The Sims 4 Get to Work*)!
  • Lumberjacks Anonymous (SimGuruRomeo)
  • Requirements: Handiness 2+
  • Activities: Woodwork, Drink Bar Drinks, Grill
  • Club Hangout: Oasis Springs Park (Where I built a Club hangout complete with a Grill, Bar, and a couple woodworking tables)
  • Club Outfit: Flannel Shirt (I set 5 different Flannel Shirts so they all didn’t look exactly the same), Jeans

Lumberjacks Anonymous love to hang out at the Oasis Springs park. They are a friendly bunch. They are always grilling and the Club hangout is open for anyone to come in and try hot food and ice cold drinks.

  • The Seasoned Citizens Brigade (SimGuruLyndsay)
  • Requirements: Elder
  • Activities: Play Cards, Read, Be Friendly
  • Club Hangout: Club Leader’s House (Edna’s mostly, she loves floral prints)
  • Club Outfit: Dresses, Suits & Hats

I created this club because it reminds me of my Grandparents.  They always got together with their best friends to play cards & hang out.  And I like to imagine them being snazzy while doing it.
So, hopefully that’s got your ideas flowing! We can’t wait to see what ideas you come up with so be sure to share your screenshots and stories with us on Twitter and Facebook.

Happy Holidays!

The Sims 4 News: Why Your Sims Now Have Bigger Reactions to Death (and Fire!)

By SimGuruEmory

In Case Of Fire...

We’ve been making improvement to how Sims react to events happening around them in The Sims 4. The first major change to this Reactions system was the Jealousy update, which improved how Sims react to their loved ones cheating on them. Fire and death are two huge moments in any Sim’s life, so they were next on the list to make bigger and better – and earlier this month, we did just that.

Though it might sound grisly, fire and death (including death by fire!) have been a core part of The Sims franchise ever since the first Sims game was released over 15 years ago.

Fire fire!
We noticed that sometimes, Sims were reacting in a lukewarm (pun intended) fashion to the raging infernos around them. On some occasions they wouldn’t even recognize a fire was going on near them and continue doing what they were doing before. This led to some unbelievable situations, like a Sim watching their favorite TV show, oblivious to the fact that their stove was on fire. (We’ve all sort of been there, right?)

We’ve made improvements so that Sims realize that there’s a fire sooner. When one Sim discovers a fire, they’ll also alert the rest of the Sims in the house to the fire. This’ll give all the Sims a chance to escape the building in case the fire grows out of control. Once they reach safety, they’ll sigh in relief and play different animations depending on their traits. Most Sims will panic, but evil Sims will cackle, and Gloomy Sims will cry. Factoring in the traits of your unique Sim into our Reaction system is one of the ways we’re making Sims more believable than ever.

Grim Affairs
Death is a part of every Sim’s story, and we weren’t totally satisfied with how Sims reacted to the grim occurrence when it did happen near them. Sims would often mourn for the fallen Sim, but the moment that ol’ Grimmy showed up to reap them, they’d be perfectly fine afterwards. This didn’t feel believable. We’ve made several improvements to how Sims react to death and its steward, the Grim Reaper.

First of all, Sims will play an initial reaction animation when another Sim dies. It felt unrealistic that a Sim would see a body and just begin crying, so we added a set of animations that play upon “discovering” a dead Sim. In addition to this, Sims will now react differently to another Sim’s death depending on their relationship with the recently deceased. Sims with higher relationship will sob more heavily, while Sims with very negative relationships (like enemies!) might even cheer at the Sim’s death. How morbid!

We also felt like the Grim Reaper wasn’t getting enough respect. The embodiment of death would appear, and Sims around him would simply continue doing what they normally did. We don’t know about you, but if the Reaper appeared next to our Sim, we’d sure freak out! After this past update, when the Grim Reaper appears to reap a dead Sim, other Sims around him will gasp and react to the Reaper’s presence.

Speaking of the Grim Reaper, remember that you can plead with him to spare your Sim’s soul. We’ve added some new reactions if your plea succeeds!

We hope you’ll have fun playing, and let us know about all the ferocious fires and deadly situations your Sims get into.

The Sims 4: New Update (17/12/2015)

Update: 12/17/2015 – PC Version 1.13.106.1010 / Mac Version 1.13.106.1210

Hey Simmers!
This is SimGuruGnome on the Issue-Chop Express and I’m writin’ to whoever’s readin’.
It’s like I told the last public relations rep, I says “SimGuruDrake, I never write more than I can read. Besides that, it’s all in the spellchecker.”
But just listen to the Issue-Chop Express and take the Gnome’s advice. When some wild-eyed Sim wanders by, knocks on your front door and asks you “Sul sul, plerg majah bliff?” You just stare them back in the eye and remember what the Gnome always says.
“Plerg majah bliff? Neeshga, voo oonapa oonsosh…”

So, what have we done?
  • We have addressed a few PC 64 bit specific issues that were quickly identified by the community.
    • Videos will no longer be blank when played back on some video players.
    • Sims will no longer flicker in dim light.
  • Telling your Sim to use the toilet will no longer cancel other actions already in their action queue.
  • It has been noted that our Sims have taken to WooHoo a bit more frequently than has been the norm. Perhaps it is the winter months, perhaps it is the coming of Spring… perhaps it…
    • Yea… it’s too much. Autonomous woohoo is allowed, but we have reduced the frequency at which Sims choose to, increased the restrictions for “why they are allowed to”, and generally have requested that Sims seek hoo in less wooful ways.
  • Description hashtags (#hashtag) in the Gallery are once again clickable.
    • And as a result, trending hashtags are back in the Gallery.
  • We have also fixed an issue with mp3 playback in custom music that was causing some mp3 files to not be recognized.
  • Club outfits will now work better with Custom Content.

Thanks again for listenin’ to the Issue-Chop Express, and take this advice on a stormy night, when the game’s playin’, the music’s roarin’, and the data’s downloadin’ in sheets as thick as a bunch of streaming green numbers, letters, and symbols (because that’s what the pattern looks like). Remember what old SimGuruGnome does when the neighborhood shakes with life, and the abductions come from the sky, and the pillars of the Goth’s estate quake. Yeah, SimGuruGnome just looks that big old storm right square in the eye and says “Gimme your best ob-la-di pal. Ob-la-da… ob-la-da.”

Until next time,
SimGuruGnome

The Sims 4: How To Create A Beautiful Backyard with Pools

By rbarkah

Hi! Check this out!

  • Tambahkan half walls!

  • Sekarang, saatnya mengaktifkan cheat MOO (Move Obejcts On) caranya, tekan Ctrl + Shift + C secara bersamaan kemudian masukan bb.moveobjects.

Pagar yang saya gunakan hanya tersedia di The Sims 4 Get Together.

Ukuran pools sesuai selera. Tapi bila ingin seperti saya pools yang saya gunakan berukuran 7 x 3. Kemudian berilah tambahan pada pools. Jika kamu sudah memiliki The Sims 4 Get Together, kamu bisa menambahkan bubble and steam, tanaman air, jumping board dll. Atau kamu bisa tambahkan air mancur.
  • It's time to use your creativity!

Tombol Alt ini berguna untuk menyimpan barang semau kita jadi peletakannya itu "out of the grid".
  •  Jadi deh!

EA Blog: Six Clubs to Hang Out With in The Sims 4 Get Together

By SimGuruRomeo

We’re really excited to release The Sims 4 Get Together Expansion Pack* to the world this week, giving Sims players a ton of new stuff to enjoy, from the fun DJ and Dance Skills to the European-inspired World of Windenburg.

But my favorite feature in the pack (and the one I worked on the most, so I’m obviously a little biased here) is Clubs – groups of Sims that follow set rules and react to situations in the ways their Club suggest.

You can create and customize your own Club, but there are also a number that come with the game, and I wanted to run through a few of my favorites!

The Avant Gardes
When we think of a coffee shop, we typically associate it with a space to grab some caffeine and get some work done. That inspired us to create the Avant Gardes. They love to hang out at the local Café to read, write, and get ahead on their homework.

The Spin Masters
The Spin Masters are exactly what you would think – they’re an exclusive group that really knows how to party. The leader, Dominic, runs a tight ship and only allows members in who demonstrate they have what it takes to be the life of the party. Whether it’s throwing down on the dance floor or spinning amazing tunes on the DJ booth, you will need to impress this group to get access to the Club.

The Renegades and the Paragons
The Renegades and the Paragons are the Yin and Yang of our pack. Both of these clubs like to hang out at the local pool in Windenburg, however their intentions are very different.
The Renegades represent your typical bad boys and girls, and the Paragons represent the goodie goodies that are nice to everyone… except the Renegades.

The Renegades are at the pool to cause mischief and disruption. You will typically find them in the bathrooms sabotaging the toilets for the next unsuspecting user.

The Paragons, however, are there to hang out and enjoy the sunny days at the pool. You can find them relaxing in their Club Hangout upstairs, where they will be trying on outfits and gossiping with each other.

The Upper Crusts
The Upper Crusts are the food snobs of Windenburg. They love to hang out at each other’s houses, cook fine meals, and drink fancy bar drinks. They’re a friendly bunch, so don’t be deterred by their elegant tastes. They are also open to accepting new members.

The League of Adventurers
The League of Adventurers is your friendly local kids Club. I have fond memories of going to the park with my friends as a kid, playing on the jungle gym and pretending we were intrepid explorers.

The League of Adventures represent the little adventurer in us all. Whenever you travel to the park, you will be sure to see these rambunctious kids running amuck on the jungle gym. Needless to say, this is one of my favorite Clubs from this expansion pack.

There are also other Clubs to join including the Knights of the Hedge – a Chess Club with a hilarious twist – as well as the Good Timers, a group of friends who spend most of their time playing Darts at the Pub. I hope you enjoyed this quick look at a few of the Clubs coming in The Sims 4 Get Together, and I’m excited to see what Clubs you create.

The Sims 4 Get Together News: 5 Tips to Upgrade Your Club

 By SimGuruRomeo

Up Cour Club Game

The Sims 4 Get Together* released last week, and I’ve already heard of some absurd and amazing Clubs that you’ve put together using the new Club system. But if you’re still looking for advice on creating a perfect group of Sims to hang out with, we put together some tips to get you started.

Find Like Minded Sims. Have you ever wondered what Sims in your World are ambitious? There’s one quick way to find out: create your very own “Ambitious Club” using the Club Requirements. Set a Requirement to have the Ambitious Trait, and go to add a member to your Club. Because you have set a Club Requirement, it will only show the Sims that fit the Requirements. Suddenly, boom – a list of your World’s Ambitious Sims.

Nail the Outfit. After you create your Club don’t forget to customize their outfit. Go to the Club Panel in the lower right corner and click the shirt icon to customize your Club’s outfit. You can set a style, Color, or go all out and customize the Club’s exact outfit. And don’t forget to purchase the Club Jacket or Hat with your Club points!

Build Your Hangout. Every Club needs a place to call their own. You can turn just about any location into your Club hangout. In the Club Manager, you can click the house icon, and set a location to your Club hangout. Once you select a location you can go to that location and build out what you want for a Club’s space. Some of my favorites are a secret backroom, basement, or rooftop lounge. Once you build out the location don’t forget to place a door down and lock it to only members of your Club.

Buying Club Perks. As your Club gathers and performs Club Activities they will gain Club Points. These points can be spent on a various perks that will further customize your Club. If your Club is all about exercising you may want to purchase the Fitness Boost perk. This will boost the speed at which your Sims gain fitness skill while in a Club gathering. You can also purchase things like Club Handshakes and powerful Club vibes to set the mood of your Club. If you have a romantic Club you may want to purchase the Strong Flirty Club Vibe. You will be able to use this to turn up the heat during your Club gathering and make everyone flirty.

Setting Targeted Rules. You may want to set rules to act out on specific types of Sims. When you set a social rule you will be able to designate a target. For example you can set a rule to Be Mischievous to Everyone, a Specific Club, or a Specific Age. You can use this to set up rival clubs. For this example we can set the rule to be mischievous everyone, however we do not want our Club to be mischievous to themselves so we need to set up a Banned activity that is Don’t Be Mischievous to our specific Club. In this case it is the Drama Lamas.

The Sims 4 First Snow Mod by SimCookie

The Sims 4 First Snow Mod
by SimCookie

To my delight and especially you, after many hours of work on the mod "First snow" and after you showed dozen images, you can finally experience the snow in the Willow Creek neighborhoods, Newcrest Granite Falls if you have the DLC "The Sims 4 Destination Nature" and Magnolia Walk if you have "The Sims 4 to work."
The little personal story is that at the beginning I had realized this project for myself until the day I shared a first image on twitter, then everyone asked me if I was going to download changes, at first it was far from being in line. Then finally I started to realize all the trees, and the result did not please me and I started 3 times to get a result that pleases me. I started on October 30 and I finished on November 8th. I worked from 10:00 to 4:00 am. So I hope you enjoy the result if not it does not matter! It takes something for everyone! In any case thank you to for his help with the texture of the ground and sidewalks and also the creator of the software Sims4Studio because without them it would have been impossible to do that! Then all the people who tested the mod: SimsVIP, theSimScraper, Sims Community, Nando, DotSim, Simfans.de, Simlinks.
  • Do not forget to remove the mods during an update
  • You are responsible for the installation and use of CC in your game
Hey guys I hope you all doing well, I read you met issue to understand how to install the mod, but it’s very simply. Here’s how to do. I know there are many files but don’t worry that’s okay. But you can’t tell me it’s not working because it is! You just have to follow and taking time to read.

First step :

Download base game files – These files includes snow on trees, the snow on the ground, the background, the buyable trees. In fact it is the most important files to male the mod works.
(OPTIONAL) If you have « The Sims 4 Outdoor retreat » you can download this file
(OPTIONAL) If you have « The Sims 4 Get to work » you can download this file
(OPTIONAL) This file is for people who wants snow everywhere. So I called it « Heavy snow » see the example under.  You only have to delete the file named « Terrain snow light.package » from the base game files and replace it by this one( download this file)
Snow by default
Snow by default
Heavy Snow
Heavy Snow

Second step :

You have to put all thes files at the root of the mods folder like this in Documents\Electronic Arts\Les Sims 4\Mods  or the mod will not work. It can only have one sub-folder. (example : mods/walls…)

Third step :

Have fun ! See it was not so complicated !
